BBQ Fund Raiser Photos

Each year, the Five Mile House Committee holds a BBQ fund raiser in September. Bob Beavers catered the event in the past. In 2008, we set up at the Lincoln Douglas Debate event held at the Coles County Fairgrounds and sold Ron Stearn's pulled pork BBQ sandwiches and his pork chops on a stick along with drinks and chips. Ron stayed there over night cooking the BBQ which was popular and sold well, netting the committee over $1,000 for the cause. The committee is considering a BBQ and auction in 2009.
