Open Hearth Cooking - Holly Glosser, Cheryl Hawker and Kathy Hummel

teach the class how to make Johnny cake on the hearth.

        

Game of Graces - A common game of the 19th century teaches gracefulness and coordination.

           

 The Broom Dance - The person with the broom hands the broom to one "suitor" and sachets down the line with the other.

 The person left with the broom then chooses between the next "suitors."  Music was provided by Jim Parsley and Jerry Ellis.
